affordable reseller hosting
Cheap Reseller Hosting: Chhoti Agencies ke liye Purchasing Worksheet
Cheap reseller hosting is the purchase a small agency makes when it wants one upstream account and several client sites under that account. The monthly fee on the provider invoice is only the first line. Payment processing, a backup the agency can still open if the account is suspended, and the hours spent answering clients all belong on the same page. Editorial review date: 10 October 2026. The original publication date is unchanged.
Two contracts behind one client invoice
The client usually sees one agency invoice, but two agreements sit behind it. The agency buys the reseller account, the panel, the resource pool, and the provider's real support channel. It then promises each client the site work and the hours it can actually answer. A low fee does not merge those agreements, certify a security outcome, or create round-the-clock support.
The cPanel documentation on reseller accounts describes reseller administration as a distinct role. An agency can create and manage accounts inside limits the host already set. Those pages do not set the host's commercial quotas, and they do not raise disk, transfer, or CPU because another brochure was sold. Copy the quotas from the price sheet beside any claim that the panel allows reselling.
The WordPress documentation on performance optimization separates how a site is built from how much operational control a hosting arrangement allows. Caching, PHP workers, and database pressure are not equally available on every plan. For each control, record whether the agency can change it, whether a ticket is required, or whether it is fixed for the term. An empty cell means the quote is unfinished.
Included and excluded work
The matrix is a buying filter, not a feature list for a named plan, and not a claim that a fee includes the rows marked as agency work.
| Responsibility | Upstream provider | Agency |
|---|---|---|
| Platform, network, and panel | Operates what the contract names | Does not operate the host machines |
| Disk, transfer, and process quotas | Sets the commercial limits | Reads them and refuses work past them |
| Reseller administration | Offers the role inside those limits | Creates and suspends child accounts only |
| Provider support hours | Staffs the hours written in the contract | Does not turn a small fee into overnight care |
| Platform security statement | Only the wording the contract contains | Leaves the cell blank when nothing is written |
| Client response time | Not the client's help desk | The promise on the agency invoice |
| WordPress updates and plugins | Outside a typical host duty | Agency or a named maintainer |
| Off-server files and database copy | Only when the quote includes it | Agency duty when the quote does not |
| Proven restore of that copy | A finished backup job is not a test | Runs one restore before the first client |
| Renewal price after the intro term | States it in the quote | Shows both prices before reselling |
| Domain, mail, and full export | May supply the panel tools | Confirms a real download before signing |
| End-client invoice and margin | Unrelated to the host retail price | The agency's own commercial choice |
If a proposal says hosting is included, the client hears every row as covered. Mark a silent row as not stated, then staff it or leave it out of scope. Platform work the host describes stays with the host. Plugin choice and passwords stay with the people who edit the site. Do not invent a certification, and do not promise support hours the quote never wrote.
Isolation before the second site is added
Reseller plans often place sites on shared hardware, and sometimes on a shared address, a shared PHP handler, or a parent account that can be suspended as one unit. Ask whether each client gets a separate panel account, system user, and database user. Ask whether a noisy account is limited alone, and whether a suspension can climb to the parent and take the other clients offline.
Copy only the disk, transfer, and process numbers the quote states. A blank is a risk, not an infinite pool. A brochure and a shop that takes payments do not share one unspoken rule, so place fewer than the count the quota sheet can name. Ask whether one compromised account can be suspended while the others can still be downloaded. An error log you can open is a different control from a one-line ticket reply.
Renewal prices in daylight
Record the price now, the price at first renewal, the term length, the last day to cancel, the date the intro rate ends, and the date the higher rate is collected. If one item is missing, do not resell yet.
Note whether renewal is for the whole reseller or each child account, and whether a cancellation lowers the upstream bill now, at the anniversary, or not at all. Monthly client billing against an annual upstream term can leave an empty seat paid until that anniversary.
A card or wallet fee is a real cost the advertised rate leaves out. If the host bills in another currency, record the currency, today's PKR figure, and the conversion date. Add tax the agency cannot reclaim and any failed-payment retry. Show the client both prices, who may cancel, and the notice period.
Ownership and a copy you can carry out
Record the domain registrant, who can unlock a transfer, and whether the move needs the host or only the registrar authorization code. Record whether mail is in the same export or on another login. Record the archive format, whether files and the database travel together, and whether someone has downloaded an archive and opened it.
The WordPress documentation on backups treats files and the database as one backup. A files-only copy has no content. A database-only copy has no themes, uploads, or configuration. Keep a complete copy outside the upstream account. Write down any archive-size cap. A cap under the real upload size is an ownership gap, and a login that only one person knows is not a procedure.
Adiba's role on this worksheet is implementation and operations advice: name the provider on the contract, list the terms the quote skipped, and rehearse the export on a copy. Hosting authority stays with that provider. This page does not rank hosts and does not describe hosting associated with Adiba as superior. It states no uptime figure and no certification. A second reader can use the agency hosting notes and the editorial desk. Those reviews do not replace the upstream contract, and they are not order forms.
Restore one copy before you resell the seat
A finished backup job is not a proven restore. Before the first client site is placed, restore one copy the agency already controls, on a separate child account or subdomain. Confirm that the public page loads, an administrator can sign in, and a database-backed view shows the expected text.
Write the date, the person, and the result, and keep a failed error on the sheet. Store the copy outside the upstream account so a suspension cannot hide it. Paying for a locker is not the test. Run the test on a copy so a live site stays untouched.
The margin a cheap reseller hosting quote still has to earn
This scenario is illustrative. It is not an Adiba package price, not a named provider quote, and not a measured customer result. Replace every assumption with the real quote before any client sees a price. The assumptions used only here are an upstream account at PKR 8000 per month, 12 brochure clients each billed PKR 2500 by the agency, a card or wallet fee of 2.5 percent of receipts, a separate backup locker at PKR 1500, and 18 support hours at an internal PKR 800 per hour.
Gross receipts are 12 times 2500, which equals PKR 30000. Payment cost is 2.5 percent of PKR 30000, which equals PKR 750. Support labor is 18 times 800, which equals PKR 14400. The locker is PKR 1500 and the upstream fee is PKR 8000. Subtract in order. PKR 30000 minus PKR 750 leaves PKR 29250. Minus PKR 1500 leaves PKR 27750. Minus PKR 14400 leaves PKR 13350. Minus PKR 8000 leaves a monthly remainder of PKR 5350. Divide PKR 5350 by 12 clients. The exact quotient is PKR 445.83, about PKR 446 per client.
| Line | Amount in PKR | How the line is derived |
|---|---|---|
| Gross receipts | 30000 | 12 brochure clients times 2500 |
| Payment cost | 750 | 2.5 percent of 30000 |
| Backup locker | 1500 | Assumption, separate from the host |
| Support labor | 14400 | 18 hours times 800 |
| Upstream fee | 8000 | Assumption for the reseller account |
| Monthly remainder | 5350 | 30000 minus 750 minus 1500 minus 14400 minus 8000 |
| Per client remainder | 446 | 5350 divided by 12, rounded from 445.83 |
That remainder has not paid licenses, themes, images, resold domains, or any hour past 18. One incident that uses all 18 hours makes the per-client figure a paper result. One extra hour at PKR 800 cuts the remainder from PKR 5350 to PKR 4550, about PKR 67 less per client. Recompute the 2.5 percent line if receipts change. Do not expect the upstream pool to shrink when one client pays late. Replace the fee, the hours, and the hour cost with numbers you can defend.
This worksheet is not the monthly operating system
A separate article covers the ongoing operating model for a larger client book: how to host 50 client sites without burning your margins. That piece is the monthly operating system. This page is the purchase worksheet. A passed sheet does not staff that larger book or keep the restore habit alive. The handbook pages cited here explain roles and practice. They do not set the quotas on your invoice.
Fill the real quote, then restore one copy
Write the provider, the plan name as printed, the intro price, the renewal price, the term, and the cancellation notice. Mark each responsibility as upstream, agency, or not stated. Paste the real upstream fee, the real payment percent, the real locker fee, and a support-hour estimate you can defend. Recompute receipts, payment cost, labor, the upstream fee, the remainder, and the per-client remainder.
Run one restore of a copy before taking the first client. Save the result on the worksheet. A working restore means the first site may go on under the promise the agency actually wrote. A failed restore means the agency is still buying, which is the cheaper moment to learn that.
